ABOUT US

After working within ecological consultancy for 12 years, working both nationally and internationally, with project experience in Scotland, England, Eastern Europe and the Southern Caucasus, Lorraine Hamilton established Cairn Ecology Ltd in 2018.

 

We do it because it matters. We believe in conservation and sustainability, and a world where we live within the ecosystem. We believe that by being part of the process, by providing the best data, best analysis, and best advice, we can make things better. We believe in projects that are more sustainable and with less environmental impact. We believe in living alongside and with biodiversity. We believe in doing what is best for the planet, people, and projects.

 

We believe in the responsibility of businesses, not only to the planet but also its people. We are fully accredited Living Wage and Living Hours employer, who believes in flexible, hybrid working and 4-day work weeks. We believe in championing difference and authenticity. We are committed along with the SME Climate Hub to reduce business-based climate emissions.
